Capturing the beauty in everyday moments and seeing the world through a lens of curiosity and wonder.
I was raised in the Chicagoland area, but about seven years ago, I moved to Texas, where I now live just outside Austin. I've been fascinated with photography for as long as I can remember, always snapping away with my parents' camera on family trips. My real journey began in high school when I took a summer photography class. It was all about film back then—spending hours with my mom’s Nikon FM2, developing my own film, and working in the darkroom. That hands-on experience sparked a lifelong passion. In 2016, I got my first DSLR, and that opened up a whole new world for me—long exposures, photo stacking, and astrophotography.
I love capturing the everyday moments, finding beauty in what others might overlook. Street photography and landscapes are my favorites, whether it's the streets of a bustling city, the rolling hills of Texas Hill Country, or the peaks of the Swiss Alps. I’m drawn to color, textures, light, and shadow—always looking for that perfect interplay.
When it comes to my approach, I’m all about going in without fear. If something catches my eye or sparks an idea, I dive in and experiment until the captured image perfectly matches the one in my mind. I often blend my interests, weaving in themes of nature, people, astronomy, and history into my work. Taking my time is key—I never rush the process. Whether it's exploring a new city or chatting with locals to find hidden gems, I believe in immersing myself in the environment to capture something truly authentic.
Through my photography, I hope to inspire others to slow down and find beauty in their own everyday lives. It's about seeing the world differently and finding those small moments of joy in the mundane. Thank you for stopping by!
